We have been working with the City of Yarra to repair rockwork along a section of the Yarra Main Trail near Dights Falls in Abbotsford affected by erosion. These works are now complete and will ensure continued, safe use of the trail for pedestrians, cyclists, and for people of all abilities.

Melbourne Water is undertaking water main upgrade works in Melbourne’s eastern and south-eastern suburbs. These upgrade works will ensure Melbourne Water can continue to supply our customers and the wider community with a safe and reliable water supply now and into the future.
We will be removing trees and vegetation that are invasive weeds along the Werribee River in Bacchus Marsh then replanting the area with native trees and plants. Our maintenance program will also include rabbit control.

Melbourne Water is removing an infestation of giant pine scale from Cardinia Reservoir and replanting the affected areas with native plants. These works will protect the local environment from further damage from giant pine scale and ensure the long-term biodiversity of the area.
