Melbourne Water Work Permit 3.11

A Melbourne Water Work Permit will only be required if a contractor is required to enter confined space on an existing Melbourne Water asset, for example a live pipeline or pit structure.

If a Work Permit is required, it will be issued at the Pre-Construction site meeting to a person that has successfully completed the Melbourne Water Permit System course, which can be requested through our online portal.

Note: although the Contractor must hold the Work Permit, we expect the Developer to be aware of this requirement and identify when a Work Permit is and isn’t required.
