To continue our important work of maintaining and improving our infrastructure and assets, Melbourne Water will be conducting corrosion protection works on the Patterson Lakes tidal gates. This work will involve re-coating the gates with an anti-corrosive paint.
Melbourne Water is planning to deliver upgrade works to the Pembroke Retarding Basin at Mooroolbark. The upgrade works will ensure the retarding basin continues to reduce the risk of flooding to the community.

Melbourne Water has renewed the final two sections of the M40 water main, from our Preston reservoirs to Merri Creek. These sections are almost 100 years old and are at the end of their service life.
