These fees were reviewed through a public process by the Essential Services Commission.
The 2026 Melbourne Water price review covers a five-year regulatory period from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2031. Prices will increase by CPI in 2026-27, decrease 1.48% (excluding inflation) in 2027-28, and then increase by CPI only from 2028-29 to 2030-31.
