We work with research agencies to deliver research studies on issues important to our community such as water recycling, stormwater management, the health of Port Phillip Bay and climate change.
Joint research and investigations contribute to our programs by filling important gaps in knowledge and helping us improve our practices.
We also give direct funding and in-kind contributions to several research providers including the eWater Co-operative Research Centre to help us understand the key influences on, and risks to, river health.
We periodically conduct research to help improve our understanding of the community’s views on a range of water-related issues. Broadly speaking, it’s about listening to the community’s views on water. We want to know what matters to the people who pay for the work we do.
