River Health in the Upper Yarra Catchment 2011
Thank you to everyone who participated in the River Health Seminar for the Upper Yarra catchment in Warburton on 3rd May 2011 at the Upper Yarra Arts Centre.

Thank you to everyone who filled out a feedback form. Our main reason for collecting feedback is to help us improve future seminars; however you may also be interested in some of the results.
Overall you scored the day 8.5 out of 10. It is fantastic to see that 100% of people said that the choice of presentation topics was interesting to them and that they would attend future river health seminars. Thanks very much for your support.
People’s opinions varied in terms of their favourite presentation but, overall, the fish presentation was the most popular, followed by the platypus presentation.
There were some good suggestions to improve future events. These included:
- The importance of habitat connectivity for fauna dispersal so they are not just existing in isolated pockets – how rehabititation projects like Corridors of Green, Healthy Waterways address this.
- Better set-up of presentations/visual aids
We will try to include these suggestions in future events where possible.
