Melbourne Water values the important role community and volunteer groups play in protecting and improving their local rivers and creeks. But we recognise that their work can be restricted by limited funds.
Our community grants program provides funding and advice to groups working along waterways or on lands managed by us.

We have partnered with Girl Guides Victoria to promote Victoria’s first Healthy Waterways girl guides badge which is benefiting our rivers and creeks.

Learn about Melbourne’s frogs and how they can be an indicator of healthy rivers and creeks by becoming a volunteer in the twice-yearly Melbourne Water Frog Census.
