O'Shannassy Reservoir
O'Shannassy Reservoir is located past Warburton in Melbourne's east. Water from O'Shannassy, which has a capacity of 3000 megalitres (million litres), is transferred to Silvan Reservoir and then to most Melbourne suburbs.
A diversion weir on the O'Shannassy River was completed in 1914 and replaced by the O'Shannassy Reservoir in 1928.
