Greenvale Reservoir
Greenvale Reservoir is about 20 kilometres north-west of Melbourne, and supplies water to the north-western and western suburbs.
Greenvale Reservoir, which has a capacity of 27,000 megalitres (million litres), was constructed to meet growing demand in the western suburbs. It was completed in 1971. It is an off-stream storage, and receives water via a pipeline from Silvan Reservoir.
