1. How long does it take for an application to be assessed?
It takes a maximum of 28 days to assess and respond to an application.
2. Do you have to pay any fees? If so, how much?
All build overs, stormwater connections and Authority and Public Works attract a fee (See our current fees). Please note you may also need to pay a refundable bond (amount to be determined by Melbourne Water) depending on the type and scope of works.
3. What is a build over?
A build over is when a property owner plans to build near, on or above an easement, pipe or other asset controlled by Melbourne Water.
