Celebrating 21 years and 12,000 environmental projects
Melbourne Water is celebrating wonderful contributions that more than 230 community groups, 38 councils and 4,300 individuals have made to improve the environmental health of Melbourne’s rivers and creeks through its River Health Incentives Program.

Blue-green algae warning - Lake Carramar, Patterson Lakes
Melbourne Water is advising residents to avoid Lake Carramar, one of the Quiet Lakes in the Patterson Lakes area, due to the detection of blue-green algae.

Grey to green - enhancing liveability in Melbourne’s west
Melbourne Water is about to begin construction to create a park along a 100 metre section of the historic Main Outfall Sewer reserve next to the Federation Trail in Williams Landing, between Triller Court and Mallard Close.

Melbourne attempts toilet roll tower record for World Toilet Day
Teams from Melbourne Water, Who Gives A Crap and WaterAid will compete to build the world’s tallest toilet roll tower at Melbourne Water’s offices on Friday 18 November at 10am in the lead up to World Toilet Day on 19 November.
