STORAGES DOWN AGAIN AS WARM WEATHER CONTINUES
Melbourne's water storages have dropped a further 0.5% (9,563 million litres) this week to 45.1% (799,616 million litres) full today, after another week of warm weather.
At the same time last year, storages were 60.1% (1,065,062 million litres) full.
Melbourne's four major catchments - Thomson, O'Shannassy, Maroondah and Upper Yarra - recorded some rainfall for the week with between 5.4mm - 10.4mm measured.
To date, the catchments have recorded around 25% of their spring average rainfall.
