SPRING RAINS WELCOME BUT STORAGES DOWN AGAIN
Melbourne's water storages are 46.6% (825,502 million litres) full today after dropping a further 0.2% (3,795 million litres) this week.
While some welcome spring rain fell across the catchments late in the week, storages have held steady at 46.6% full since last Sunday.
Between 13.8mm and 34.4mm of rainfall was recorded in the four major catchments - Maroondah, O'Shannassy, Thomson and Upper Yarra - for the week.
Melbourne's water storages are now at a level 9.2% lower than at the same time last year.
