WTP Birdwatching
It’s amazing what you’ll find at Melbourne Water’s Western Treatment Plant.
Come and visit the Western Treatment Plant these school holidays.
Join us for a spot of birdwatching on an escorted tour through the Ramsar listed wetlands. This is a rare opportunity for local and international twitchers to tour the wetlands, without applying for a birdwatching permit.
Migratory waders like Red-necked Stint from Siberia have flown 12,000km to be here. Come and see them before they fly home.
