Yarra Riverkeeper Association
The Yarra Riverkeeper Association is a community-based organisation striving for protection and care of the Yarra River and its tributaries. The association’s boat patrols the Yarra reporting incidents of environmental damage and pollution to the relevant authorities. They host educational talks, tours and events to raise awareness of environmental issues and encourage people to enjoy, value and protect the Yarra River.

Kids Teaching Kids
Kids Teaching Kids is an education model that uses local environmental issues as a theme for learning. Kids Teaching Kids starts in the classroom and extends into the community through the Kids Teaching Kids Learning Model and Program. The Conference will engage the younger generation in whole of catchment issues and will bring students from a number of locations together to share stories about their environments at the Conference.

Greening Australia
Greening Australia has partnered with Melbourne Water to lead secondary schools through an integrated Biodiversity and Water education program based around Melbourne Waters’ Edithvale Seaford Wetland Discovery Centre and at local community sites and schools. The program will engage schools in biodiversity education and waterway health through native plant vegetation involving local indigenous and Friends groups to achieve these outcomes.
