We have united with some of Australia’s leading design and construction firms to combine our expertise and get the best outcomes for the community.

This integrated approach is known as an alliance model.

What is an alliance?

Alliances allow us to provide high standards of service to the community.

‘Alliancing’ is a model used increasingly around the world. It ensures that we will:

  • Identify and unite the best in people and industry knowledge
  • Innovate and achieve better outcomes
  • Foster collaborative working relationships
  • Deliver efficiencies by removing the need (and bureaucratic cost) for repeated tendering on a project-by-project basis
  • Ensure a streamlined delivery process.

Our alliances are built on:

  • Openness and transparency
  • Independent approval of expenditure
  • Independent validation and cost reviews
  • Transferring learnings and continual improvement
  • Statutory reporting and ongoing review of performance
  • Constructive behaviours.

Major projects

From 2008 to 2013 we will be responsible for delivering over $3 billion in infrastructure projects to our community.

Our teams will continue to play a central role in this delivery and our alliances will support this effort.
